A photo exhibition “Tbilisi – Recent Past” organized by the Sergo Kobuladze Laboratory of Fixation of Art Monuments in the Centre exhibition hall Ars Georgica (27.10.17 – 26.11.17)
Rare material kept in the laboratory archive collection was exposed in the exhibition hall – the views of our capital city of the 80-90s of the previous century taken by the Georgian photo artists. A photograph as history and a photograph as memory. As a parallel material there were exposed Tbilisi views taken by famous photo artists Robert Capa and Henry Cartie-Breson while visiting Tbilisi in the same period. Most of the phographs were exposed for the first time.
